One of the days the team was riding out in Park City we started talking to a local that said he and his friends did a lot of urban riding around downtown. Seeing a great opportunity for both a photoshoot and to have a great time we jumped on the chance. A few days later we headed back up to Park City to meet our new local friends around nine o’clock at night. They took us to a large hill that we had to hike up to get to the spot we would be sessioning. It was a short hike and well worth it once we reached the top. The view from the top was absolutely gorgeous, as we could overlook all of Park City shining in the darkness. There was already a jump, runway, and snow bridge over a gully set up when we got there. Our team set up the lights while some of the locals showed our riders where we would be dropping in from and gave the low down on the jump and landing conditions. Once our camera crew was set up, we cracked open a few beers, started blasting music and dropping in. The runway was pretty sketchy at first since all the focus is on trying to get across the snow bridge that was barely visible. As soon as you made it across the bridge the begging of the jump was staring you right in the face so you had switch focus extremely fast. After the first drop-in the nerves started to go away and we all just relaxed and cheered each other on as each other started to throw down. It was definitely one of the best night urban riding sessions we have had and got to meet some great people along the way.
