We're Proud to Partner with Protect Our Winters
We’re beyond thrilled to support Protect Our Winters (POW), a non-profit organization focused on helping our community protect the places we love from climate change. The partnership includes an annual donation and our commitment to use our platform to educate, inform and advocate for our climate.
Now, for some background on POW. They were founded in 2017 by filmmaker, entrepreneur, environmentalist and snowboarding pioneer, Jeremy Jones. He founded the organization in an effort to unite the winter sports community against climate change. Since then, POW is a global organization and has expanded their community to include scientists, creatives and business leaders. Their mission?
“POW helps passionate outdoor people protect the places and lifestyles they love from climate change. We are a community of athletes, scientists, creatives, and business leaders advancing non-partisan policies that protect our world today and for future generations.”
Science and innovation is in our DNA, through our partnership we look forward to supporting POW’s Science Alliance on their future projects. The alliance is composed of volunteer scientists, glaciologists, hydrologists, historians and economists from some of the top research institutions in the world. They’re responsible for the data collection and analysis that goes into POW’s messaging and advocacy efforts.
As our brand evolves and progresses, we’re continuing to put sustainability initiatives and climate advocacy at the forefront of our business. Our product enables people to stay warm when exploring their cities, ski resorts and everywhere in between. Therefore, we believe we have the responsibility to protect the places we play for future generations.
